6th Light - Smoothies [Audio/Common]
Is anyone in charge of the coffee shop down here?
I - heh - I may have borrowed your blender.
I'm making smoothies though. And well, there's enough to share, if anyone else wants one.

It's nice to meet you, or - heh - it will be.

[Gideon pockets his com and then heads on up to the Coffee Shop. He pokes his head in, looking around for her.]
Yo, Kairi. It's Gideon! Hopefully I didn't keep you waiting.
[Commentlog]
Hello. Nice hair.
[That was definitely not what she had meant to say.]
Heh, no, you didn't. I was trying to tell if there was a juicer here. But none of these look like the machines back home.
[She half-shrugs and heads for the fridge instead.]
Do you like ice-cream and milk?
[Commentlog]
Thanks. You like it? I think it's a pretty darn nice dye job, if I do say so myself.
[He nods at her next question.]
Yeah, definitely. Both are great.
[Commentlog]
Oh! Great.
[Kairi grabs the extra orange and pours it into a glass.]
This has orange, lemon, milk and ice cream. Try it? Xanth said it was okay but, heh, I'm not sure. If it's not I can mix up another. I think those things might taste nice with oranges.
[She offers the glass to Gideon and gestures vaguely to a bunch of raspberries in a small bowl.]

[Gideon eagerly accepts the drink and takes a big gulp. Then he grins.]
Nope! This is delicious. Thank you so much. So how'd you learn to make smoothies? You teach yourself?
[Commentlog]
[Kairi looks half-sheepish, half-curious; what do you mean, bright-coloured gravity-defying hair isn't natural? Everyone has it where she's from.]
Oh, I come from an island. There was always lots of fruit. My parents used to make smoothies and I watched. It's not hard. You just throw things in a blender and see if they taste good. Heh, sometimes they don't, but there's always next time.
