[Kairi's sitting on a branch that overhangs the pool on deck 3. She hesitates, and as though prompting her, the comm squirts water at her. It starts recording in time to catch her laughter.]

OK! I'm doing it!

Does anyone know where I can find shells on board? Or know anything about drying out nuts and seeds?

I like making charms and things out of them. Back home they're lucky for sailors and well, we are on a boat.

[She goes to close the connection, but then adds.]

Oh, and if anybody still has those pasta necklaces the Captain gave out and doesn't want them anymore, could I have them?

[If she can't find any good string, a good supply of dental floss would have to do.]

I do not know about shells, or seeds and such... there are several gift shops on board that might carry something of that nature.

I still have a necklace as well, if you'd like it.

They seem to be restocked somehow. I don't know exactly how, but they don't run out of things. And it seems to be free, as well.

[Kairi's probably going to take that as a sign of the inherent goodness of mankind: Nobody has tried to loot the place clean. Yay naive optimism!]

[Well, that's probably true - its never been cleared out as far as she knows. Though whatever restocks the ship would probably restock that anyway.]

[She grabs the necklace off her desk and, making sure she has her room key, heads up to Deck 3. Have a tall red-headed woman looking for you, Kairi!]

[Kairi sees you Reffy! It takes her a minute to realise that if she's meeting someone, she should probably not be sitting in a tree. Kairi manages to climb down without falling. Yay!]

[Rfena looks over at the young lady approaching and levels a curious look at her. When Kairi speaks, she automatically matches the voice up to the voice from the comm, and smiles.]

I did find some shells on Deck 12 actually, but they got pretty crushed down there.

I guess they weren't very lucky.

I think I'll try the gift shops. It takes the fun out of making them for myself, but if there's jewelry there, it's probably really pretty!

Good luck charms are for those without luck or with the wrong luck. Are you burdened with such luck, miss?

It is sad. With all the memories things like that hold, they can't just be replaced. But there's always new memories.

I don't think I'm unlucky. Bad things happen to everyone. Good luck charms help me stay positive. But it doesn't sound like they work for you.

Some unfortunate things happened when I first woke upon this vessel but some people actually took the time to assisted me. It was quite a nice change for once.
